Transport Optimizer

Transport Optimizer is a unique combination of transportation management software and load planning, delivering reduced freight costs and improved load utilization. Transport Optimizer is a separate module from Robocom's WMS products and can be used in combination with any of them.

Transport Optimizer Features

Transport Optimizer includes the following features:

• Auto Load Building – create rules that define load building parameters and let Optimizer organize orders that are ready to pick and ship into loads that minimize transportation costs and optimize trailer utilization. Auto Load compares LTL costs with multi-stop full load costs to determine the least cost approach for groups of orders that meet the criteria in the rules. When Auto Load is finished, a quick review is all that.s needed to release the loads for picking in the warehouse.
• Manual Load Planning – build those tricky loads by dragging and dropping orders into a trailer, while the system updates available and committed weight, cube and pallet positions. Set the stop sequence, check and verify the rate calculations and carrier selection and release the load to the warehouse.
• Freight Rating – Transport Optimizer includes LTL and Full Load rate tables for least cost carrier selection. Download rate tables from your carriers or enter the rates by hand.
• Freight Bill Audit – Enter carrier freight bills or load them into the system from EDI invoices, then let Transport Optimizer compare actual invoices with rates calculated before the shipment was made. Run audit reports and deal with the exceptions, then process the carrier's invoice for payment.
